Following Deloitte, Odoo has been deployed by PwC. A major leap forward that speaks volumes

Odoo is expanding beyond the SME sector. With PwC, the company is aiming even higher. PwC, the largest of the “Big Four,” is establishing an Odoo Center of Excellence in Belgium. A clear sign of things to come.

PwC, Odoo’s new business integrator. According to the agreement formalized during Odoo Experience in Brussels, “PwC will define the organization’s operations before configuring the platform and will bring its expertise in finance, tax, risk management, and industry sectors to each project.”

PwC follows Deloitte. The “Belgian unicorn” had already officially signed an agreement in September 2024—initially with Deloitte’s Belgian subsidiary—a partnership combining Odoo’s open-source software platform with Deloitte’s sector-specific expertise, project management, and change management capabilities. Broadly speaking, Odoo provides its ERP solution, while Deloitte offers multidisciplinary support (finance, supply chain, GxP compliance, and ESG reporting). The alliance, which began in Belgium and Luxembourg, has gradually expanded internationally, notably with Deloitte launching specific offerings in other countries such as France.

Earlier, in 2022, Odoo had already signed an agreement with KPMG; the “Big Four” firm had then chosen the Walloon-based company as its preferred technology partner.

Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling

With PwC today, Odoo will be able to break through the glass ceiling of large organizations. With major clients such as Danone, Decathlon, Louis Vuitton, Sodexo, and Toyota, the Belgian software provider has already firmly established itself within multinational corporations, sometimes even replacing heavyweights like SAP. We also recall the historic agreement with Partena Professional.

PwC will work with all types of organizations. First, scale-ups: implementing an initial integrated platform that offers the flexibility needed to support their growth. Second, mid-sized companies: modernizing fragmented systems to create a cohesive operational platform. PwC also targets large organizations: deploying harmonized processes across different entities, geographic regions, and business lines. And the public sector: modernizing services while meeting high standards for governance, transparency, and sovereignty.

A key strength is the Odoo Center of Excellence. A single team, a unified methodology, and centralized design governance for the entire project. This structure concentrates technical expertise on the platform, deployment methodologies, and acceleration tools, explains Xavier Verhaeghe, Senior Partner Leading PwC Belgium’s Advisory Services.

“We are seeing growing demand for our Odoo services—both in Belgium and internationally—and, through this Center of Excellence, we are strengthening our capabilities and expanding our offerings to support our clients where we can deliver the most value.”

Joining the Big Leagues

Odoo’s partnership with major consulting firms represents a major strategic development. The Walloon software company is reaching a decisive milestone. The launch of dedicated Odoo practices by giants such as Deloitte and, now, PwC, demonstrates that it is now playing in the big leagues.

This shift toward the high end of the market is driven by several factors. First, a record valuation—a financial standing that reassures the IT departments of large companies. Second, strategic alliances with major consulting firms; Odoo is now presented as a credible alternative or complement to traditional monolithic ERP systems.

Finally, the recognition of its “Two-Tier ERP” strategy is paying off. Odoo does not immediately seek to replace the SAP core of a multinational with 100,000 employees. Its entry point into the high-end market is more subtle. Large corporations are adopting Odoo to quickly equip their new subsidiaries, joint ventures, or specific departments. In doing so, they avoid SAP or Oracle deployment projects that drag on for five years and cost tens of millions, preferring the flexibility of Odoo connected to headquarters’ central system.
