A sovereign platform project in Luxembourg for clients in the regulated financial services and insurance sectors
NTT DATA and Mistral AI are set to market and deploy secure, private, enterprise-grade AI solutions that empower their customers’ strategic autonomy.
The two companies will combine NTT DATA’s comprehensive portfolio of GenAI and IT services, global deployment capabilities, industry expertise and trusted customer relationships with Mistral AI’s advanced generative AI solutions and models, recognised for their efficiency, performance and autonomy.
The first focus area is the co-development of sustainable and secure AI. The two companies will develop sustainable and highly secure private AI solutions for organisations in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, defence and the public sector. The companies will provide end-to-end solutions, from infrastructure to business processes, optimised by AI applications, for customers operating on private clouds.
The second focus area is AI-driven innovation for IT infrastructure and customer experience. The companies will pioneer the integration of Mistral AI technologies into NTT DATA’s customer experience platforms, starting with agentic AI call centre solutions in Europe and Asia Pacific. Joint projects could include the co-development of LLMs for specific languages, which will drive innovation in AI tailored to local markets and specific needs.
Regional strategies and a centre of excellence
The two partners want to go further. This is the third focus area: expanding commercialisation. NTT DATA and Mistral AI will jointly develop and execute regional commercialisation strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of countries such as France, Luxembourg, Spain, Singapore and Australia. End-to-end AI services will range from use case development and customisation to implementation, support and managed services. Dedicated sales teams from NTT DATA and Mistral AI will be assigned to address key customer needs and priorities.
To foster innovation and implementation excellence, NTT DATA will create a Mistral AI Centre of Excellence, comprising dedicated experts and resources. In addition, Mistral AI will launch a technical training and certification programme for NTT DATA staff.

A sovereign platform in Luxembourg
As part of one of the first joint projects, Dennemeyer, one of the world’s leading providers of comprehensive intellectual property management services, has selected Mistral AI and NTT DATA to develop an AI-driven application for advanced patent search and analysis, providing the technical layers necessary for the secure execution of AI workloads. “Dennemeyer continues to be a driver of digital transformation in the IP sector; a key aspect of this collaboration lies in strong partnerships with organisations such as Mistral AI and NTT DATA, which bring a deep technical understanding of AI and its integration into business processes,” said Laurent Brochmann, Global Chief Digital Officer, Dennemeyer.
As part of another preliminary project, NTT DATA Luxembourg and Mistral AI will co-develop a sovereign platform in Luxembourg for customers in the regulated financial services and insurance sectors.
