One group, two areas of expertise, one employer standard

With dual “Top Employer” certification—the sixth consecutive year for NRB and the fifth for Ethias—the Ethias Group has confirmed its position as a leading employer in Belgium, with scores well above the sector average.

Double recognition! Ethias and NRB are both in the Top 10 of the 82 companies certified as “Top Employers” in Belgium this year!

In very different professional environments, the group demonstrates that the same high standards can be applied in terms of skills development, talent management, and managerial culture.

A key player in employment in Belgium

At group level, the priority is clear: to offer each employee a clear career path and consistent recognition, says Julien Balistreri, Chief People & Organization Officer of the Ethias group. “These results show that when we listen and act together, we create a sustainable and trusting positive dynamic, focused on talent development and capable of supporting our ambitions in very different but complementary professions.”

With more than 2,000 employees at Ethias and 3,670 at NRB (including subsidiaries), the Ethias Group represents a major source of employment in Belgium, at the crossroads of the insurance and IT industries.

In 2025, Ethias recruited 201 talented individuals and NRB recruited 300, illustrating the attractiveness of these two companies and their structuring role in the Belgian economy.

Continuously evolving practices

Ethias plans to maintain a steady pace of recruitment in the coming years. The company estimates that it will recruit around 250 external profiles in 2026 to support the growth of its activities and the development of its network, particularly with the opening of new offices. These recruitments will involve both strengthening management and support functions, as well as specialized profiles in actuarial and quantitative fields. At the same time, Ethias is continuing to develop new expertise related to AI, data, and emerging technologies, which are at the heart of the transformation of its business lines.
