AI5 sets up shop in Luxembourg as an agent-based AI integrator
Coco5, Jumbo5, Kong5, Monkey5, Suri5, Tank5, Tiger5, Tower5… There are now eight of them in AgentZoo, the “zoo” of the specialized integrator AI5. While each agent plays a specific role, the possibilities are limitless.
“Where traditional AI assists, our agents take action,” says Dominique Mangiatordi, Founder & CEO, AI5. “Our expertise lies in creating systems capable of reasoning, planning, and interacting with our clients’ existing tools to solve critical tasks.”
Everything becomes a workflow! AI agents can handle routine requests, resolve common issues, and manage feedback. These applications go far beyond scripted chatbots: they understand context, can access multiple systems, execute defined workflows, and escalate issues along with the associated context. “These are concrete, ready-to-use deliverables—not raw data. No manual sorting; pre-structured and organized results.”
Everything is enhanced
For example, Suri5, an intelligent voice and phone agent, effectively automates businesses’ operational processes. End-to-end call management: It can handle incoming calls and make outgoing calls in place of a human operator. Automatic appointment scheduling: The agent interacts using natural language to schedule appointments and update professional calendars autonomously. Customer support and reception: It serves as a virtual AI receptionist to qualify customer requests and relieve pressure on corporate switchboards.
“Suri5 generally works in synergy with other specialized agents on the same AgentZoo platform,” continues Dominique Mangiatordi. Tiger5, an agent dedicated to business development and sales; Tank5, an agent specializing in legal processing and compliance; Tower5, an agent focused on human resources and recruitment; Kong5, a technical agent for development and product teams. ”
AI5, a Specialized Integrator
Already well-established in Belgium, with 33% of its funding provided by Ethias Ventures, the Liège-based startup is setting up shop in Luxembourg, naturally targeting the financial market—insurance and banking.
“Whether it’s claims management, responding to requests for proposals, financial flows, or administrative logistics, our autonomous agents transform even the most complex workflows into smooth, self-optimizing processes.”
Backed by clients such as Ethias in the Belgian insurance sector and BIL in Luxembourg, AI5 positions itself in the market as a specialized integrator: analyzing needs, defining the agent’s scope, and establishing the necessary connections while maintaining control mechanisms and ensuring human intervention at critical stages.
“I’ve observed strong momentum in Luxembourg for agent-based AI and innovation in general—supercomputers, future quantum systems, and more. At the same time, there is much work to be done, as the needs of small and large organizations are, by their very nature, very different.”
Agent-based AI is redefining the role of the manager
There is significant interest from banks and insurance companies. AI agents are driving the sector toward greater autonomy, efficiency, and strategic visibility; they enable faster closings, smarter audits, proactive risk management, and more personalized customer engagement. At the same time, the agents’ autonomy poses challenges in terms of oversight, explainability, and systemic risk.
In addition to developing and integrating solutions, AI5 offers training services. “Managing workflows is a skill that can be learned! In this sense, AI is no longer limited to automating tasks: it is redefining the role of the manager. At a time when AI agents are becoming true collaborators capable of analyzing, deciding, and acting, one question stands out: how can executives turn this revolution into a competitive advantage? ”
This is a timely topic. And it’s one that particularly fascinates Dominique Mangiatordi, who is publishing “Le Manager Agentique” (Editions Chronica) on September 10, along with his method for ensuring that everyone—not just IT—is truly on board with AI-driven agent technology…
