Ookla is a global leader in network intelligence and connectivity. Its Speedtest Connectivity Report provides independent information on the performance of mobile and fixed networks in different markets. The report is based on millions of consumer-initiated tests and Quality of Experience (QoE) measurements, providing a clear picture of network performance in real-world conditions and during everyday digital activities.

In the latest report, Orange Belgium also posted the fastest average 5G download speed, reaching 156.37 Mbps nationwide.
The report also highlights Orange Belgium’s leadership in several Belgian cities, with consistency scores of 94.2% in Antwerp, 93.3% in Ghent, 92.2% in Leuven, and 91.3% in Brussels.
“We are very proud of this recognition, which reflects the daily work of our teams to offer the best possible 5G experience to our customers,” comments Philippe Toussaint, Chief Technology Officer, Orange Belgium. As a reminder, Orange’s “Lead the Future” strategy is based on three key priorities: building ultra-high-performance multi-gigabit networks, creating an excellent customer experience, and developing a sustainable business model.
Philippe Toussaint continued: “5G is an essential part of these pillars, and this award shows that we are on the right track. Our ambition is not only to build faster networks, but also more reliable and sustainable ones, serving consumers and businesses alike.”
